The Explorers

Hello, we are Hannah and Richard, two passionate environmental educators and the owners of Wild and Growing.  We have made nature our priority.  Our jobs revolve around teaching the outdoors to children.  In our free time we continue to explore new areas and go on new adventures, challenging ourselves in the process.  We decided to create Wild and Growing, which is a variety of things, with a goal of making the outdoors more accessible to everyone.  To allow people to learn more about and hopefully gain some interest in the natural world around them.  That is why we have our Etsy store, where you can buy educational resources for your classroom or children.   That is why we made this blog, where you can be inspired to get outside.  Lastly, we are working on a youtube channel where we will upload educational nature videos to get you confident in the world around you.

So many people fear the woods, fear going hiking, and fear the creatures that live there.  Because of this, less people care about the environment which is contributing to the downward spiral our planet is facing.  Using our resources, we hope that you learn some things, you gain some confidence, and you will go out and explore for yourself.  You never know what you will discover.
